Competition on Philanthropy Award “Iskra” in Montenegro (Deadline: 10.11.2013)

The Fund for Active Citizenship – fAKT from Montenegro, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, the Ministry for Sustainable Development and Tourism and the Directorate for diaspora, with the support of the European Commission, the Foundation „Ćano Koprivica“, the Rockefeller Brothers’ Fund and the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, have launched a Competition on Philanthropy Award.

The Competition is open to all individuals, informal groups of citizens, CSOs, medias, diaspora associations and businesses which have supported non-profit actions for public good.

The objective is to recognize and publicly present those companies and individuals whose material and financial support lay down standards that everyone should aim to achieve in relation to public good.The Competition also aims to encourage the respect of values such as solidarity, humanity and philantropy.
